The name Orac stands for Ostend Research and Applications Company. The Belgian family business Orac Decor was founded in 1970 in the coastal city of Ostend. With its slogan inspiring profiles, it is one of the leading manufacturers of innovative and synthetic ornaments, especially mouldings for interior design.
Originally, Orac Decor aimed to replace traditional materials like wood, commonly used in furnishings, with advanced polymers. The company has been in operation for over 50 years, gaining extensive experience in producing high-quality products that are durable, lightweight, and easy to install.
